About CCC

The clinic provides mental health assessments for people interested in a trial of a Cannabis-Based Medicinal Product (CBMP).

Cannabis Clinic Cardiff (CCC) is a patient-centred, clinician-led Private Medical Clinic.

Patients can self-refer to the clinic for a FREE eligibility assessment. An initial appointment with a Specialist Consultant will follow, assessing symptoms and medical history to determine your suitability for having a trial of a CBMP.

There is no guarantee that an initial appointment will result in a prescription of a CBMP and any prescribed product will be determined as appropriate following discussion with the prescriber.

At present, CBMPs can only be prescribed for a limited range of conditions and for patients who meet minimum eligibility criteria.

If you are unsure if this applies to your situation, please get in touch and we can answer any questions you have.

Information on Appointment Pricing

It costs £250 for an initial sign-up consultation at CCC as a new patient. Generally, most clinics will offer a free initial screening assessment; sometimes by online questionnaire, in other cases simply by calling and talking to a clinician about your specific condition(s).

Each consultation at this clinic costs £100, which is required for every change to your prescription medication, or every 3 months in general for check-ups after repeat prescriptions. Under current regulations, as a CBPM patient you must be assessed at least once every 3 months for the suitability of your medications for treating your particular condition(s).

This clinic offers completely free repeat prescriptions of your previously prescribed medication(s).
