Farm Gas is an exciting and limited-time strain in Aurora’s Craft Program. Aurora’s Craft Program highlights premium craft cannabis strains, grown at the highest standards. We are excited to bring back this high-THC hybrid strain to our patients, grown, hang dried, hand finished, and hand bottled by Aurora for excellent quality.
Farm Gas is a unique strain from Aurora’s Genetics and Breeding team. The goal was to create a superior high THC flower with a high terpene %. When Farm Gas was first launched, we partnered with North 40 to grow it, but this batch is grown out of Aurora’s Ridge facility for an equally enticing final product.
This high-THC strain is loaded with ~2.7% terpenes and bred from Sour Diesel and GMO strain genetics. This strain has a unique visual appeal with bright, colorful buds covered in sticky trichomes and bright mint-greens alongside lavender hues. Expect an aroma profile that features notes of kerosene, diesel, and gas with a slight chem taste, followed by a slightly sweet finish with fruit sherbet undertones.
This strain has a characteristic pleasant aroma with fruity undertones which facilitates administration and increases patient adherence.
Its pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, and anxiolytic properties are attributed to the main terpenes limonene and caryophyllene, which have a positive effect on sleep disorders, stress and depression.

Aurora has three operational facilities in Canada (Aurora Sky, Aurora Vie, and Aurora Mountain) plus two new facilities projected to be operational by the end of 2019, including a 1,000,000-square-foot (93,000 m2) facility under construction in Odense, Denmark. Construction on the Nordic 2 project in Denmark was stopped in November 2019 when the company's stock dropped to a two year low. The Aurora Sun project in Alberta was put on a temporary hold. These decisions would lead to a savings of $190 million.
Aurora Mountain was Aurora's first facility, completed in 2015. It is a 55,200-square-foot (5,130 m2) production facility in Mountain View County. Aurora Vie is a 40,000-square-foot (3,700 m2), fully licensed, indoor production facility in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. It was the second licensed producer in Quebec, and was acquired in 2017 for $7 million when it was about 80% complete. In 2017, Aurora Cannabis began construction of an automated 800,000-square-foot (74,000 m2) plant in Alberta that it said would be capable of producing 100,000 kilograms of cannabis annually. The land is part of the acreage owned by the Edmonton International Airport. In 2021, Aurora shuttered its Aurora Polaris facility in Edmonton.
