Divine Genetics created GMO and locked its sights on experienced users, those who don’t mind a little extra spice (and a lot of extra kick). The strain's name acronym technically refers to a genetically modified organism, but not the kind you should avoid in fast food. We'd like to think that it stands for garlic-mushroom-onion because that's exactly how it smells.
Once you get your hands on some coveted GMO, you’ll be able to sense its cautiously reported origins as a phenotype of a cross between GSC and Chemdawg. The strain has high levels of THC from 22-30%.
The unique aroma has earned GMO the nickname “Garlic Cookies.” The aroma starts with a layer of rubber, gas, and chemical goodness, which transforms into earthy spices, sort of like grassy, spicy pine. All of these odd smells add up to the “garlic, mushrooms, and onions” smell we mentioned earlier. This is a strain for people used to funk and ready for more, let’s put it that way.
GMO grows in foxtails, with slender buds that grow densely, with long bodies shaped like peppers. The gnarled, dark green and purple colas give off smelly visions of the outdoors, chemical pine, and other gasses. Its terpenes favour Caryophyllene and Myrcene, which deliver not only the smell but the spicy kick as well.
